Hi, I’m Iren — a Sofia local, travel planner by instinct.
I studied Leisure and Tourism Management, but most of what I know comes from real life: traveling a lot, living abroad, hosting foreign friends in Bulgaria, and constantly looking for the places that make a city feel alive.
When I travel, I don’t want only dates, monuments and long historical explanations. I want the small things: where locals actually go, what they eat, what they laugh about, what they drink, what they avoid, what makes a place feel real.
That’s exactly what I love showing people in Bulgaria.
I mix the tourist highlights with local rituals, hidden corners, good food, unexpected stops and personal details — so your trip feels less like a checklist and more like a story you actually lived.

Is this a guided tour?
No. Bulgaria Curated is a personalized planning service, not a traditional guided tour.
I create a custom Sofia or Bulgaria plan for you, and you experience it at your own pace. If you would like a private guide, driver, photographer or host for part of the experience, I can help source that as an add-on.
How is this different from a travel agency?
A travel agency usually sells fixed packages, tours, hotels or transport.
I design flexible, personal travel experiences based on your taste, mood, pace and interests. Think of it as having a local friend who knows the city well and plans your trip with care - but in a more organized way.
Do you book restaurants, tickets or activities for me?
The standard packages include personalised recommendations and planning.
Restaurant bookings, activity reservations, drivers, private guides or special arrangements can be added as extra concierge support, depending on the package and availability.
Is the plan fixed by hour?
Not unless you want it to be.
Most plans are designed in flexible blocks — morning, afternoon and evening — so you have enough structure to enjoy your trip without feeling rushed or trapped by a strict schedule.
Are food, drinks, transport and tickets included in the package price?
No, unless clearly agreed separately.
The package price covers the planning and curation service. Food, drinks, transport, tickets, accommodation and third-party experiences are paid separately by the traveler.
What if I don’t know what I want?
That’s completely fine.
The questionnaire is designed to help me understand your travel style, even if you don’t have a clear plan yet. You can simply tell me what kind of mood you want - relaxed, romantic, fun, foodie, cultural, local, elegant, adventurous or “surprise me.”
How do I pay?
After I review your request and confirm the best package for your trip, you will receive a simple confirmation with a secure payment link.
Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll start creating your personalised plan.
Can I buy this as a gift?
Yes. A personalised Sofia or Bulgaria plan can be a great gift for someone visiting Bulgaria, celebrating a birthday, planning a romantic trip or coming for a special occasion.
Gift options and small local gift kits can also be added on request.
